Casper Ruud – He’s On the Golf Course When Is Not Playing Tennis

Casper Ruud chose tennis as his career. He could have very well played golf because he spends a lot of time playing golf. When he needs a break from tennis, Ruud hits the golf course.

At the 2022 French Open, Casper Ruud reached the finals where he lost to Rafael Nadal. Though it was a tough lost for Ruud (6-0 in the third set), the performance at Roland Garros showed that he belonged with the very best in the game.

Not surprisingly, he carries his golf clubs wherever he goes. That’s the case especially in the United States, where golf courses are easy to find.

He has an Instagram account dedicated to Golf where shares pictures from the golf course. He loves to talk about golf whenever can. He follows Norwegian tennis players Viktor Hovland and Kristoffer Ventura. Both play on the PGA Tour.

Casper Ruud is the highest-ranked Norwegian player in ATP history. He eclipsed his father who reached a career-high ATP ranking of 39. Most of Ruud’s titles have come on clay though his results on hard and hard courts have been very good. In 2021, he reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the first time.
