Naomi Osaka Excited About Dogecoin

Naomi Osaka is the latest celebrity to join the cryptocurrency craze. Osaka said that she has been looking into cryptocurrencies and that dogecoin has sparked her interest. It’s not clear if Osaka owns any dogecoins.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Osaka said:

I know that online, everything is getting bigger. I remember reading about Dogecoin … there’s going to be something new and interesting that’s going to pop up.

In April, Naomi Osaka and her sister Mari introduced a collection of six NFTs. The NFT collection sold for almost $600K.

Osaka is the highest-paid female athlete in the world. She endorses more than a dozen brands. She also has invested in salad chain Sweetgreen and the professional soccer team  North Carolina Courage.

Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic has athletic genes – her dad Predrag Danilovic played in the European basketball league. He also played two seasons in the NBA representing the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks.

She was coached by former world number 2, Àlex Corretja.  She reached a peak ranking of world number 5 in the juniors. Danilovic’s sponsors are Nike, Yonex, Maybelline, and Hyperice. She has earned more than $1 million in prize money.
