For most players, winning a medal for their country is as good as winning a grand slam. But between 1924 and 1984, tennis was excluded from the Olympics. Thankfully, it was re-added in 1988.

Steffi Graf won the golden slam in 1988- winning the Olympic gold medal in singles and winning all four grand slams.

9-Year Old Micaela Bryan, Daughter of Bob Bryan Sings National Anthem At Atlanta Open

Kids grow up quickly. Nine year-old Micaela Bryan impressed the crowd by singing the national anthem at the Truist Atlanta Open. Dad Bob Bryan and uncle Bob Bryan walked Micaela to the court and watched proudly as she sang.

Music runs in the Bryan family. Bob has played the piano for 30 years, whereas Mike played drums for 20 years before switching to the guitar. They occasionally play on a band and even released an album. The twins’ father is a musician, in addition to being a tennis coach.
