Brands That Sponsor Fiona Ferro

Fiona Ferro was born in Belgium but her parents moved to France when she was one. After an impressive junior career in which she was the French national girls’ champion, she made a seamless switch to the women’s tour.

2020 was a breakout year for Ferro. She reached the fourth round at her home grand slam, the French Open.  Her current sponsors include Lacoste and Yonex.

Lacoste

Ferro has a clothing sponsorship deal with Lacoste. She was previously wearing New Balance apparel. Though Lacoste doesn’t have a big name women’s player wearing the crocodile brand, Anett Kontaveit,   Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and Bernarda Pera wear Lacoste.

Yonex

Ferro has a racquet sponsorship deal with Yonex. She currently uses the Yonex VCORE 98 racquet.

Miomir Kecmanovic Switches To Dunlop Racquets

Dunlop has signed Serbian player Miomir Kecmanovic to a three-year contract. Kecmanovic will be using the SX 300 racket along with Dunlop’s Explosive Spin strings. He was previously using Babolat racquets.

Kecmanovic is one of the up-and-coming players on the tour. He reached a career-high ranking of 30 in 2022.  He qualified for the NextGen finals in 2020 but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kecmanovic won the Orange Bowl for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016. In 2015, he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the Orange Bowl title. Orange Bowl is a prestigious junior tennis tournament that has been won by John McEnroe, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick,  and Dominic Thiem.

Dunlop, in its heydays, was used by Steffi Graf, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, and Rod Laver. Wimbledon and US Open finalist Kevin Anderson and doubles specialist Jamie Murray are among the few players using Dunlop racquets these days.
