Vasek Pospisil is a popular player on the men’s tennis tour. He is an outspoken advocate for the causes of his fellow players and is well-liked. Though he has struggled with injuries in recent years, he has big name brands such as Asics, Wilson, and Huawei as his sponsors.

Born to Czech immigrants in Vernon, British Columbia, Pospisil speaks Czech, French, and English. From age 15 to 18, he trained in Prostejov, Czech Republic.

Pospisil won the 2014 doubles title at Wimbledon with American Jack Sock. Though he has had better results in doubles than in singles, he reached a career-high singles ranking of 25 in 2014.

He was a member of the ATP player council from 2018 to 2020. He resigned from his role in August 2020 to start a new men’s tour along with Novak Djokovic. The breakaway group called the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) hopes to co-exist with the ATP Player Council.

Original Penguin

In 2022, Pospisil inked a clothing sponsorship contract with Original Penguin. Before that, he had an apparel and shoe sponsorship deal with Asics. 

Wilson

Pospisil has a racquet deal with Wilson. He currently uses the Wilson Blade 98 v7 racquet.

Huawei

Huawei is a Chinese technology company based in Shenzhen, China. The company is a leader in 5G wireless technology.

Hekate

Pospisil is the co-founder of mushroom brand Hekate. Hekate focuses on developing organic mushroom products to improve performance and well being.

Pospisil was introduced to the efficacy of mushrooms when a nutritionist recommended them as he was recovering from surgery.  Mushrooms had a big impact on his physical and mental health.  He decided to start his own venture to develop organic mushroom products.

KITS

KITS is an online eyewear brand that offers eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contract lenses at affordable prices. The company went public in 2021 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Emil Ruusuvuori is one of the most talented players ever from Finland. Fans and sponsors have high expectations for Ruusuvuori. Emil Ruusuvuori had an impressive junior career. He reached a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the junior ITF rankings.

Ruusuvuori has a racquet sponsorship deal with Head. He appears to be using TGT301 racquet, a pro stock version of the Head Graphene 360+ Speed racquet. He also wears Head clothing. 

Mercedes Benz

Ruusuvuori’s partnership with Mercedes Benz began in 2018.  Benz is a German automaker that makes luxury vehicles.

Silja Line

Silja Line is a cruise ferry brand that helps people travel between Finland and Sweden. It is owned by the Estonian ferry company AS Tallink Grupp.

Cenfura

In 2021, Cenfura entered into a partnership with Ruusuvuori. Cenfura is a smart energy company that operates renewable energy assets.

Porsche

Ruusuvuori has a sponsorship contract with luxury car maker Porsche in Finland.
