Lucas Pouille Undergoes Surgery On Right Elbow

Lucas Pouille underwent right elbow surgery in Paris yesterday. Pouille shared the news on social media telling his fans that the surgery went well and that he is looking forward to the rebab.

Pouille has been struggling with an elbow injury for some time. A few weeks ago, he announced that doctors have advised him that surgery is the best long term option for his elbow.

Pouille played only one tournament in 2020 due to his injuries. He reached a career-high ranking of 10 in 2018. He reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in 2019.

Fans Say Rafael Nadal At The French Open Is More Dominant Than Usain Bolt At The Olympics

Rafael Nadal at the French Open is more dominant than Usain Bolt at the Olympics.  That was the verdict delivered by a fan poll conducted by ESPN.

The undisputed King of Clay going was just too popular for the fastest man on earth.  Or maybe it is just tennis is more popular than the track field as a sport.

Nadal has a dominant 93-2 record at the French Open, winning it a record 12 times. It is a record that will stand for a long time.  

Usain Bolt won eight Olympic golds to go with his 11 gold medals at the World Championships.  He broke the world record for the 100m, 200m, and the 400m relay multiple times in his career.

Comparing athletes across sports is no easy task. But fun polls like this show that tennis can hold its own against other sports.  It is nice to see tennis fans actively participate in these polls and support their favorite players.
